Ty Cobb Hall of Fame Bio.

The Baseball Hall of Fame published this short bio on Ty Cobb in a series of biographies for presentation on their website. Ty Cobb was the first player inducted in 1936.

Ty Cobb First Interview.

This video was discovered in the fall of 2018 and is believed to be the first interview after his retirement. The film is complimented with high quality audio for the period. It was part of a larger collection held by the University of South Carolina’s Moving Image Research Collection also known as MIRC.

Ty Cobb was selected by ESPN’s 50 Greatest Athlete in 1999. While many of the accounts have errors, it was a large platform to showcase the career of Ty Cobb.

I’ve Got A Secret.

Mr. Cobb appeared on the popular tv show, “I’ve Got A Secret” on September 28, 1955. All proceeds from this appearance went to the Ty Cobb Education Foundation.
