About the Ty Cobb Museum Staff

"I am very proud of the awesome staff that I work with on a daily basis," said Wesley Fricks, museum's Executive Director, "the level of professionalism and dedication that they exemplify makes us the best the business has to offer."

SHARON BROWN
Museum Associate

Sharon Brown was born in Franklin County in 1944. She was married for over 50 years to Mr. Grady H. Brown of Hart County. Sharon has two children Robyn B. Moon and Mark K. Brown. She has 4 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Sharon came to work for the Ty Cobb Museum the spring of 2014 after 20 years with Pinnacle Bank of Royston. She has served as Museum Associate for nearly four years focusing primarily on the Home Plate gift shop sales and providing excellent friendly, professional service to patrons of the Museum who travel from all over to visit Ty Cobb.

She is currently working on a Museum scrapbook project that she hopes will document current and future activities at the TY COBB Museum.

"I am looking forward to learning more about the technology side of what we do here at the Museum," states Mrs. Brown. "Learning more and doing more at age seventy-two is a way of life for me because I never want to stop learning or serving people with a smile."

Thank you Sharon for your great work with the Museum and it is our pleasure to tip our hat to you!
